Our approach
The aim is to help people with different abilities and needs learn about my work and get in touch easily. Accessibility work is guided by WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA. This statement describes implemented features and the scope of checks. It is not certification of complete compliance with every legal or technical requirement.
Accessibility features
- Structured headings and page landmarks, with English left-to-right and Hebrew right-to-left editions.
- A skip link, keyboard operation and visible focus indicators.
- Text descriptions for project screenshots and the P animation.
- A control to pause the P animation and support for the operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
- An enlarged screenshot viewer with desktop and phone views, closed with Escape.
- Information pages with live, resizable text, clear links and layouts for smaller screens.
Keyboard navigation and zoom
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and buttons. Enter activates a link; Enter or Space activates a button. At the start of the page, choose “Skip to content” to reach the main heading. While a screenshot is open, focus stays within the viewer. Escape closes it and returns focus to the link that opened it. You can enlarge the page with your browser’s zoom controls.
Testing scope and limitations
The Hebrew homepage, screenshot viewer and information pages have undergone automated, keyboard and browser display checks. On 11 October 2026, a technical screen reader review used NVDA 2026.2 with Chrome on a local version of the Hebrew site. It covered speech output, heading and landmark navigation, the skip link, screenshot selection, the viewer, focus return and contact links. That review applies to the Hebrew version reviewed at that time. It does not establish NVDA coverage of this newer English edition.
These checks do not cover every combination of assistive technology, device and browser, or replace a complete usability review with screen reader users. Application screenshots are images of work, so the text inside them is not live text. Each has a description. You may request an explanation or information in an accessible format. This statement covers this portfolio website only. WhatsApp, authentication services and the separate applications use external interfaces.
Having trouble?
The accessibility contact is Shay Pinhassi. Email [email protected] or message +972 54 315 0245 on WhatsApp. If a link does not work, you can copy the address or number into the appropriate app.
It helps to know the page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you used. Providing these details is optional. You can also ask for information or arrange a conversation in an accessible way that works for you.
